VIRGINIA: IN THE CIRCUIT COURT FOR THE COUNTY OF CULPEPER ERIC JEROME BROWN, TRUSTEE, Plaintiff vs. Case No.: CL21000079-00 UNKNOWN HEIRS OF VIRGINIA RAWLES, who was devised the subject real estate by the will of her father, John Carpenter, who died February 10, 1949; the unknown nieces and nephews and their heirs at law of Virginia Rawles, who died, intestate on December 19, 1973, the unknown nieces and nephews being the children of John Carpenter, Jr., Dan Carpenter, Bruce Carpenter, Burnett Carpenter, Lucy Carpenter, Florence Carpenter, Lillian Hancock, William (Willie) Carpenter, and Bernard Carpenter, they being the siblings of Virginia Rawles, and the unknown heirs of Walter Carpenter, Ralph Carpenter, Herbert Carpenter, Samuel Carpenter, Sarah Carpenter, their heirs and successors, all of whom are proceeded against as PARTIES UNKNOWN and EUGENE CARPENTER, if living, address unknown, and DIANE C. BANKS, if living, address unknown, Defendants ORDER OF PUBLICATION TO: Unknown Heirs, Devisees, Suc- cessors in Interest, and/or Assigns of Virginia Rawles, Parties Unknown: The object of this suit is to quiet title to and establish title in the plaintiff to a certain eight-acre tract of land lying and being on the north side of Kirtley Trail (State Route 645) in the Cedar Mountain Magisterial District of Culpeper County, Virginia, which was conveyed to John Carpenter by deed of John Jenkins and Nancy Jenkins, his wife, dated the 25th day of July 1892, and recorded in the Deed Book 27, Page 21, in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Culpeper County, Virginia, and was subsequently devised to his daughter, Virginia Rawles, when he died on February 10, 1949, according to his will probated in Will Book 24, Page 347, in the aforementioned Clerk's Office. Virginia Rawles died, intestate, on December 19, 1973, survived by nieces and nephews, and their heirs and successors, whose names are unknown, but who may have an interest in the disposition of this property. It is hereby ORDERED, that each of said parties appear on or before March 15, 2021, and do whatever is necessary to protect their interest in said land. It is further ORDERED that this Order of Publication be published once a week for four consecutive weeks in the Culpeper Star-Exponent, a newspaper of general circulation in the County of Culpeper.
