About Fauquier Health Care Hematology/Oncology

Hematology/Oncology: About the Practice

Fauquier Hospital’s new 2,056-square-foot Infusion Center is a breath of fresh air – and light. Located just past the front lobby of the hospital, the new Infusion Center provides cancer services and cancer treatment. It is a new, bright and open space, and Dr. Manchandani, medical oncologist/hematologist, is just a few steps away. Designed for the convenience of patients, Dr. Manchandani’s office is a part of the hematology and oncology department located in the new center in Virgina, so he is available in case there are questions or concerns.

Hematology/Oncology Services

  • Blood disorders: low blood count, bleeding disorders and coagulation disorders
  • Intensive antibiotic administration
  • Cancer treatment: hormonal therapy and chemotherapy

Dr. Manchandani works closely with the medical team at The Cancer Center at Lake Manassas and can refer patients when radiation therapy is necessary.

We gladly welcome Medicare patients

Hematology/Oncology patients must provide a copy of their Medicare card in order for Fauquier Health to verify eligibility and process Medicare claims. Medicare programs specifically exclude payment for certain items and services, such as cosmetic surgery, some oral surgery procedures, personal comfort items, hearing evaluations, and more. Deductibles and co-payments are also the responsibility of the patient.

For more information on benefits, claims processing or getting a replacement card, please call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227).
