One of Culpeper’s signature October events returns for its 26th year! Culpeper Air Fest brings an exciting day of aviation to the Culpeper Regional Airport and has become a fall tradition for visitors and locals alike.

One big fall weekend in Culpeper
October 17 | 10am-4pm | Historic Salubria
History meets fall festival at Salubria’s Oktoberfest History Faire. The scenic grounds of the historic property become the backdrop for a day celebrating Virginia’s past and present.
October 17 | 12-5pm | Downtown Culpeper
Come hungry. Hop N Hog returns to downtown Culpeper for an afternoon centered around barbecue, beer, and bourbon and a lively block-party atmosphere. It’s an easy excuse to gather your friends and spend a fall afternoon while enjoying some serious barbecue.
October 17 | 12-7pm | Mountain Run Winery
Celebrate harvest season in Virginia wine country at Mountain Run Winery’s annual Fall Festival and Craft Fair. More than 40 local craft vendors are expected to fill the winery with handmade goods ranging from woodworking, knitting, and much more.
October 17 | 12-8pm | Belmont Farm Distillery & Brewery
Raise a glass to fall at one of Culpeper’s most distinctive craft beverage destinations. Belmont Farm is celebrating Oktoberfest with whiskey, beer, bratwurst, and a new cider planned for release this fall.

October 17 | 6-7:30pm | Graffiti House
More than 160 years ago, Civil War soldiers left their names and messages on the walls of the Graffiti House in Brandy Station. Discover some of the stories and mysteries surrounding this historic property during the tour.
October 23 | 5-9pm | Graffiti House
The Brandy Station Foundation welcomes Culpeper Paranormal Investigations for an evening featuring paranormal evidence gathered from various locations, equipment demonstrations and more.
Ride into the final weekend of October
October 24-25 | Fulton Moto
Two wheels aren’t required to join the fun. Culpeper BikeFest brings two full days of food, drinks, entertainment, and more than 30 vendors together for a weekend celebrating motorcycles, community, and plenty of enthusiasm for the open road.
Happening throughout October
The market runs Saturdays from 7:30am-noon. Browse locally grown produce, baked goods, and other finds before heading out to explore the rest of Culpeper.
Downtown walking tours explore the people, places, and moments that shaped the community, from Native lands and early settlement through the Revolutionary and Civil Wars.
