WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Novant Health has named Stephanie Lenzner as senior vice president of value intelligence. Joining the system’s IT leadership team, Lenzner brings more than 25 years of experience leading healthcare transformation, including digital strategy, data, analytics and artificial intelligence.
In this role, Lenzner will partner with leaders across IT and the organization to help strengthen Novant Health’s technology and data foundation, leveraging analytics to strategically drive value. She will lead the integration of analytics, data science and performance intelligence, ensuring insights are aligned with systemwide priorities. With this unified data strategy, Lenzner will equip leaders and teams with the information they need to drive and enhance affordability, quality, patient experience and outcomes.
Lenzner’s background spans information management, quality and patient safety, population health, clinical integration, managed care and business development, giving her a comprehensive view of how technology enables the care continuum.

Lenzner previously served in a senior leadership role at Mayo Clinic, where she was responsible for advancing digital, data and AI capabilities and experiences across the enterprise. She also previously served as chief data and analytics officer at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin and has held executive roles focused on clinical integration, enterprise performance management and information management. She held various leadership roles at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, including vice president of performance management where she developed a service delivery support model including analytics and business intelligence. Additionally, Lenzner brings an entrepreneurial perspective as a co-founder of a medical informatics company, along with experience in managed care environments.
She received a Master of Science Health Administration and MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in public administration, health and human services and psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
