WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Dr. Steven Meadows, a board-certified neurologist and memory care specialist, has joined Novant Health to expand access to advanced specialty care services in Forsyth County.
Meadows diagnoses and treats a wide range of neurological conditions. His expertise includes stroke, movement disorders, traumatic brain injury and migraines along with memory care for conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to help patients understand the neurological challenge they are facing and to empower them with the care, support and resources they need to improve their quality of life,” said Meadows. “My goal with each patient is to restore function and a renewed sense of hope.”
Meadows earned his medical degree at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Utah, followed by four years of active-duty military service as a lieutenant commander in the Medical Corps for the U.S. Navy. He previously worked at Riverside Hampton Roads Neurology in Newport News, Virginia, and most recently at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin, North Carolina.
