Grow your roots: $1,000 small business grant opportunity

BeMobile Verizon is giving five ambitious people a $1,000 grant to grow their business and make a local impact. Whether you have always dreamed of starting your own business or are looking to grow something you have already built, BeMobile wants to hear your story.

This year, the focus is on supporting ideas that are rooted in community — businesses that make a difference locally and bring people together. From April 1st until April 30th, BeMobile Verizon will be accepting applications for five $1,000 Rooted in Community grants.

Who can apply

BeMobile Verizon is seeking applications from businesses and individuals rooted in community.

  • Demonstrated passion, dedication, and commitment to your business venture.
  • A solid plan outlining how the grant funds will be utilized to achieve tangible business goals.

How the grant can be used

• Grow roots in your community
  • Act on a business idea that you have had.
  • Expand something in your small business that you have not been able to fund.

Selection criteria

• Clarity and feasibility of the business plan.
• Potential for growth and impact on the community or industry.
• Demonstrated need for financial support and how the grant will be utilized effectively.
